Consultations

Private consultations are available. These can of 1hours duration, half day or full day. Residential courses are also available.  

Benefits

    1.  An opportunity to discuss individual needs and problems with an expert who has worked in this area for sixteen years.

    2.  Consultations may be of any duration from 1 hour to one day.  Home visits may sometimes be arranged or pre-arranged telephone consultations. 

    3.  Residential courses are also available which are specially designed for the individual and involve counselling, anxiety management, homeopathy, hypnotherapy and acupuncture carried out by our therapists.  These are all geared towards achieving the goal of successful drug withdrawal and anxiety management.  Recovered ex-users and therapists are also involved in our courses.

    4.  To advise on withdrawal from benzodiazepines and antidepressants and plan the withdrawal programme.

    5.  To provide stress management especially in curing panic attacks using breathing techniques and acupuncture.

    6.  To provide support for family members of clients.

    7. Some Health Authorities are now willing to pay for consultations on behalf of their patients.  Should you wish to take advantage of this please contact Pam for details.

    8. You may to have your withdrawal programme set up, and clearly planned either in person or over the telephone - including liaison with your doctor if needed.

    9. Your withdrawal may be mentored by  telephone.  This can  be very important as guidance and reassurance are vital and may mean the difference between succeeding or failing. References may be supplied from people who have used this service.

    10. Protocols devised in conjunction with Dr. David Healy, University of Wales at Bangor are used for SSRI withdrawal

    Longer periods of consultations can be arranged and are negotiable.

 Half day (3hours) consultation rate will be approximately £75.00p,

Full day ( 6 hours) £125.00p.

Mentored withdrawal i.e. a telephone call to discuss progress once a week.

Monthly charge £45.00p
