NOVEMBER 2006:  Pam attends House of Commons for meeting to set up All Party Benzodiazepine Group to call for funding for specialised care for benzodiazepine sufferers.

MARCH 2006:  An invitation is offered to put both 'Back to Life' by Pam Armstrong and 'Alive and Kicking' by Peter Ritson on line.  Thus making these two books available to a wider audience of readers World Wide.  You may find these books on benzobuddies.org

JANUARY 2006: Pam Armstrong visits Newry in N.Ireland to help with training of medical staff and to run a two course at Woman's Aid in Newry.  It is hoped that a campaign will begin in Northern Ireland for greater knowledge and understanding of benzodiazepines and antidepressants and facilities to help people to withdraw from these drugs.

OCTOBER 2005:  Pam Armstrong visits Dublin to run training for drug workers, counsellors and clients in Tallagh.

APRIL 2004  Norwich Union publish a Health Report stating that 8 out 10 doctors admit to over prescribing antidepressants and tranquillisers.

MARCH 2004  Chief Medical Officer issues directive reminding doctors about the oversubscribing of benzodiazepines.
